See What OOhanaeze Ndigbo Said Concerning IPOB-Sit-at-home Day
Ohanaeze Ndigbo which is an Igbo socio- cultural group in Nigeria has called on Biafra agitators to avert the allure of engaging in any aspect of a clash with the Nigeria security operatives.
Talking ahead of May 30th which is the Biafra Day celebration, the group urged the pro- Biafra factions to avert " any form of parades, an exhibit of Biafra flags/rallies and solidarity protests on the 30th- 31st of May 2021 Biafra Day. "
This was given rise to in an affidavit endorsed by the Secretary- General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro on the 26th of May, Wednesday.
While ordering for a six- month ceasefire bargain from the viewpoint of the agitators and the federal government, he mandated unconditional emancipation of all detainees.
" the leader IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Biafra National Council of Asari Dokubo, Biafra- Zionists of Ben Onwuka MASSOB of Uchenna Madu, and BIM of Ralph Uwazurike are our children, we exempt of all arms clashes and exhort them to desist from actions capable of militarization of Southeast zone and south- south zone.
" We must enforce on all the agitators self- practice, common understanding and strict allegiance to the principles of non- violent agitations and universally formal standards of self- determination, " Isiguzoro said.
He put in that " Ndigbo will persist to identify with them until there is a cumulative restructuring of Nigeria and stop to the marginalization of Southeast part of Nigeria by the National Government. "
" The group asks all Biafra agitators to move along with the proposal of Southeastern Governors led by the Governor of Ebonyi state, David Umah for kindness of 6 months to adjust with the Federal Government of Nigeria and stop the marginalization of Southeast geopolitical zone.
' We are also asking the Governors of the southeastern region to use the window of June 12th Democracy
